Abstract
Currently, a vast amount of medical information and advice is available already to netizens through the internet. The field of psychiatry as compared to other medical consultations has drawn particular interest as the internet can be utilized more effectively without any restrictions on consultation scope. However, an in-depth discussion on the implementation and problem associated with on-line psychiatric consultation has yet to be actively studied. The purpose of this article is to bring to the attention of our readers the case point and problem related to on-line psychiatric consultaion through an analysis of actual case study. We believe our argument to highlight the importance of the internet in promoting psychiatric consultation despite underlying drawbacks.
